How stupid are religious people?

October 18, 2007

Reading through the forum posts from religious people Muslims, Christians, Mormons, Budists, etc, I am left with one overwhelming question lingering in my mind.

How stupid do you have to be to actually believe in this iron age bullshit superstition?

(iron age bullshit superstition = mainstream religion. I thought it best to explain so you religious people can follow this topic)

Expressions such as complete idiot, moron or imbecile, sound horribly inadequate to describe the total absence of free thought and reason, that is mainstream religion.

I am a bit at a loss as to where i schould begin to try to describe or illustrate how stupid you have to be to follow any religion. The task seams almost insurmountable faced with the sheer quantity of moronic examples one can find simply by opening up a newspaper.

Lets take one example, often religious people will lament me for being so adamant that religion = shit. Maybe they are not aware of religions evils throughout history? (“he who forgets history is condemned to repeat it”.)

A short glimpse in the history books or the so called religious holy books, will colorfully describe a few thousand years of persecution, torture, and death at the hands of various religious twitts. Intellectual oppression, brutally enforced tyranny, occupation, war and violent invasions, hundreds of millions of lost human lives! etc.

It should be enough to sober up anybody, but no. In fact based on their history humanity, believers and non-believers alike schould feel seriously threatened by the very concept of religion.

Alow me to clarify for you religious people so you can get the right perspective on this.

Would you claim to support the naziz? Would you call them good? would you defend their actions? I guess not, but by supporting a religion and defending its right to exist you are effectively defending ideologies and organizations that makes the brutal murderous Nazi regime seam like a kinder garden pick nick.

Some of you might wonder how I can compare religious followers to Nazis? in fact Nazis were Christians whose standard issue Nazi belt buckle bore the words “Gott ist mit uns”, or “God is with us” so all of you atheist that want to attack me in order to appear politically correct, my analogy is more than justified.

Just like a spouse sometimes defends their abusive counterpart (after all he did take me to the hospital after he beat me? he still does love me, doesnt he?) Defending religion means that you also defend the crusades, the eradication of the Inca civilization, giving smallpox infected blankets to Indians, the taleban, the inquisition, imperialism, the list of evils you defend and support goes on and on.

The arguments and excuses presented by the religious dimwitts are usually along these lines, it was a, long time ago, or, its not really like that.

News flash! the basic ideology that created the inquisition, the taleban, sexual mutilation, the creationist movement, etc, hasnt changed!

It still continues to this day, even though religious leaders have given up the claim that the world is flat and the the universe revolves around us, religious leaders still claim things like the world is 6000 years old, sexual mutilation is the will of god, condom use is a sin, etc etc etc, the list of absurdities is miles long.

lets paralell these arguments to the Nazi analogy again, the second world war and the holocost was a long time ago? The nazi party isnt really like that anymore?

Makes your mouth taste bad doesn’t it..

Does that mean we schould embraze the nazi ideals? NO! just like the nazi regime was an abomenation! Over the milennia religion have ruled with fear and violence, it has rutlessly and systematically destroyed any and all new ideas that might threaten the prescribed religious dogma.

Just look at it the Nazi holocaust is child’s play compared to Moses’ exploits of looting, pillaging, rape, and wholesale slaughter of women and children. Its a hell of a lot worse then the Nazi regime! Yet most people with half a brain manages to hate the nazi regime and deplore everything it stands for, but for some strange reason many of these people manages to apply a different set of morals when judging religious atroseties and mythology.

The Nazi party isn’t “like that” anymore either, but that does not make their ideas okay! the same is true for religion.

Religion suppresses any and all attempts of progressive thinking contradicting its absurd mythology. Anything not in line with the superstitious garbage is labeled as blasphemy, punishable by torture and death. Yet it is progressive free thought that has delivered us from the dark ages. (The dark ages was actually a religious construct in the first place).

Just imagine where we could be where it not for the religious party? perhaps mankind would have put a man on the moon 500 years ago instead of 30 Imagine the technology we could have today, bio-engineered crops feeding the world’s hungry, medical technology eradicating disease forever, weather control preventing drought and natural disaster, alternative fuels that don’t pollute. But, alas, the religious faction has and still tries to vigorously stamp out all science (truth) that threatened the dogma (mythology) which gives the religion its power.

Now another fact that seams to sail right past religious people is that if god was good why didn’t he just make us a better planet to live on? All trees could bear fruit 365 days a year, all the soil on the planet could be fertile the weather could be more mild, disease might not exist, oil would not pollute the atmosphere when burned, etc.

But no, instead god supposedly punishes us all for sins often committed thousands of years before we where even born, and through his teachings, deprives us of science and knowledge we need to prevent the plague, famine, and catastrophes that god supposedly bestows upon us.

Yet religious people some how manages to not see such obvious facts? i wonder how they do this? ist their brain fuctionly properly? i mean i cant think of any scenario where its possible to execute such self deseption.

To be able to axecute such retarded mental exercises you have to be an indescribable idiot!

Why dont religious people ask any interesting questions?

October 2, 2007

It always strikes me how a religious idiots always fail to ask the interesting questions. Lets for example take the never ending deniel by religioujs freaks around the big bang.

most religious people will either 1. Deny big bang altogether. Or ask 2. What was before the big bang.

I guess its just another glaring example of the how profoundly stupefied the human brain is on religion.

Firstly there is a lot of evidence that the big bang theory is pretty much correct, to deny it is just stupid, this is the category of idiot dumb enough to believe in creationist bullshit.

secondly, what kind of argument is “what was before the big bang?” i mean just because we havent figured it out yet isnt evidence of any kind og omnipotent sky daddy! it just means we haven’t figured that part out yet, just like we used to believe the world was flat until we figured out that it was in fact round, we will probably figure out what came before the big bang.

How is it that no religious moron is able to ask any interesting questions during these debates like. When the universe was in its earliest phase why didnt gravity collapse the matter into a giant black hole? i mean all the matter in the universe was compacted in a small area? Why didnt gravity work in the early universe?

Or

If the early universe was purely made of energetic protons where did the electrons come from?

I mean big ban theory just beggs for some interesting questions to be put forward but religious idiots never seam able to do this.

Personally i think they are afraid to learn anything about it because it will force them to consider the mindbogglingly stupidity of their ancient superstitions.
